Our small size and inspiring location make Bells Marina & Resort an exclusive experience.

Enjoy the comforts of our boutique hotel and luxury cabins, bring your own RV or camper, or “rough it” in one of our glamping sites. Bring your boat and keep it in one of our guest slips or in our secured boat storage area.

Our friendly staff can provide guides, gear, and just about anything you need for a family-friendly outdoor adventure at this secluded angler’s paradise.

Bells Marina & Resort is a gated outdoor community and resorts in a cove on the popular Lake Marion, known for world-class fishing and record-breaking catches.

Most of our visitors are dazzled at the beauty of the woods and water. We border 400 acres of the Santee Cooper Wildlife Management Area, and you can enjoy 180-degree views of the cove and waterfowl, from white herons to bald eagles.

Meals are a special experience for our guests, and you have a lot of delicious options. Our friendly outdoor cooking area features several barbecues and a pizza oven. There’s also a giant Ring of Fire with a spectacular water fountain in the middle. This is a great place to make new friends.

The country store is stocked with the usual groceries, along with bait & tackle and camping accessories. We have fishing kits, s’mores kits, and many pre-made food options to make your stay easier. You can grab a pizza for the outdoor pizza oven, or if you don’t want to cook after a long day, pick up a convenient crock-pot meal. Crock pots are included in every hotel room. Just place a pre-made meal in the pot and dinner will be waiting for you when you get back.

Our family restaurant is a local favorite and offers fried, fresh-caught catfish. We are open for three meals most days. You can have a hot breakfast starting at 6:00 am, and be on the water or in the woods at sunrise.

The restaurant crew is happy to deliver food to your room, RV, or campfire--and you might even talk our chef into grilling your catch.

If you don’t feel like hunting or fishing, Bells Marina & Resort has play spaces for the kids and relaxing spaces for adults. Join us for movie nights or just unwind at the community campfire.

No matter what kind of vacation you have in mind, Bells Marina & Resort has everything you need for a memorable adventure.

We were looking for a quiet place to spend the night after a long day of driving. Terrific location on Lake Marion! A short distance from the interstate; a world apart! Clean room, cable, internet, great service. We'll come again!

We recently enjoyed a 3 night stay in our RV here. The owners, Judd and Charlotte couldn’t be nicer. (Judd loaned us a hose because ours was a bit short.) They recently took ownership of the property and are working to improve it. I will say that not every campground can be all things to all people. If you like being right next to the water, having access to fish or boat, having a convenience store within walking distance, having a security gate, etc, then you will appreciate this place. If you are looking to get that secluded nature camping experience, you might be happier in a state park or something like that. All that being said, the bathhouse here was clean and nice, the wifi worked surprisingly well for a campground, the other campers were friendly and quiet and the grounds were fairly clean and well kept.

We love this place. Real coffee pot in the room, all rooms face the water. Comfy and clean. The restaurant has good solid food in large quantities for extremely reasonable prices. Room was warm despite 27° F outside.

I would give all 5 stars but unfortunately our room had issues that once complaints were made about we were told maintenance would be coming to assist with and they never came. Our bed frame collapsed as soon as we sat down our first night. Not being picky we just moved to the other bed. Informed staff the next morning picked up our children from the sitter for the next night and they had to sleep on the broken bed. They also shut the lights off outside at 10 Pm on a Saturday night while we were still fishing from the bank which really wasn't ideal as we had to collect all our belongings in the dark from the bank as there wasn't a warning.

However, please let me rave about the service and kindness of this campground! Short Dog, one of the employees went above and beyond to find anything we needed. My children came for our second night and one of the owners came around with coloring books, color pencils and candy for my children. The resort itself and location, you just can't beat it. They offer free snacks upon arrival in the room which my babies loved while we figured out dinner, the rooms were very clean and everyone around was just so kind. Also, the outdoor area was just great, we had a fire pit by the bank while we were fishing, caught some beautiful fish out there. My children were able to play in their playground area and just be one with nature for a day with all the different species of birds they have out there. Definitely a repeat occurrence for this family. The new owners are doing amazing with it!
