Nice inexpensive place to pitchy my tent and relax for the night. My car wouldn't start in the morning, and owner gave me a jump start. VERY kind and compassionate. Goes such a long way and takes so little. THANK you so much for making my stay stress free!
UPDATE: We did stay again, this time in a tent and we won't do that ever again here. We got blocked in our spot by a big truck and camper which was not great at 3am. In a tent, of course you hear everything and the road right by the site is very busy and loud. So loud. The car was better at blocking noise, so beware if you are tenting to bring ear buds. Our site this time didn't have a fire pit and the spot felt odd like it was in someone's back yard. Just very noisy and RV campers don't really seem to care about those in tents.
Original review; We stayed for 2 nights here, car camping in a tent site. Great location for us as we were working over night security at a location just a minute away. The bathrooms are nice, clean and even tho older are very well taken care of. Same with the shower room. Love the tall trees and shade we had from that. The fire pit was very big and covered which was great. Small grounds which is nice, it was full tho! The owners are very helpful and easy to talk to. They only take cash or check. Great prices and good location in town. We hope to go back!
