From Nashwauk take State Hwy. 65 (N) 23 mi. to Co. Rd. 52 (Venning Rd.); turn left (W) 2 mi.; turn left (S) 2.5 mi.
Just went for the day to hike but the views in the fall are amazing!
First come first serve at this campsite.
Easy access from the Bay Area Historical Society parking lot. Hike the loop or stay the night it is a must for north shore hikers..
Super tiny campsite. Not very level. Tons of roots and rocks. Views are good, but if you're not planning on camping, not at all worth the steep walk down and then the climb up.
Backpacking and camping overnight was a wild experience! Would categorize as mildly rough terrain and small area for tiny tiny tiny tents most ideal
