Beautiful place!! Great place to view the river and railroad bridge. Also a nice place to view lightening bugs right before dark... Lots of wonderful wildlife as well.
I went there to fish there is some pretty nice fishing areas but the trash could be picked up a lot more
Daughter wanted to just go for a ride. Quiet, nature will not hesitate to inform you on just how important this area is. Serene walking in the AM and lots of water fowl that varies season to season are the things that make here pleasing. Drop a boat. Drop a line🎣stay in the shade and have a great time.
There's a whole bunch of birds, geese I think. Definitely not ducks. Anyway, bring your bread and feed them they are hungry. It's pretty relaxing and the water is very calm under the bridge which gives a nice view as well of nature. Great safe place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
