It was nice, they had a 9/11 rememberance(oddly my parents wedding anniversary of all days), the people were very friendly. Invited me to karaoke every Friday...forgot the time....
First impression, Not so welcoming! I travel all over a visit a lot of VFW's. I am a LifeTime Member of the VFW. We were charged a higher price for our 2nd set, of the same drinks that were the same as the 1st set. When I went to talk to what appeared to be someone that worked the bar there, I actually stood there for longer than a minute before they even acknowledged me. The person that I spoke with, was the bar manager and another bar worker. I'm not sure with the first impression that I would ever come back here.
My wife and I go on a Fri evening. Love this place. One of Yuma's best kept secrets.. Sherri is a top bartender, very welcoming, friendly and fun to talk to. The karaoke girls create quite the atmosphere. I would recommend a visit to anyone. You won't be disappointed. Oh and it's a cash bar.
