WELCOME TO SONORAN DESERT RV PARK
After a day of rolling through the dramatic and diverse Sonoran Desert, you can roll your rig right into this oasis in the desert. It's so convenient with the easy-on/easy-off access from both I-8 and AZ 85. The campground was built for RVers by RVers and it shows: You'll find roomy, 100 foot full-hookup pull-thru sites throughout the park - all big rig friendly! Relax by the heated pool or just soak up the desert views and dark evening skies from your site. Fido will love the 4,000-square-foot Canine Corral with three separate corrals (two with grassy areas). Although you're just an hour from Phoenix, you'll feel worlds away as you savor a brilliant sunset at day's end. The Sonoran Desert RV Park prides itself in offering a quiet atmosphere in the evenings for all to get a good night sleep by asking everyone to retire into their RV's by 10pm.
From jct Hwy 85 & I-8: Go 3 mi E on I-8 (exit 119), Butterfield Trail (Bus 8), then 1 mi N on Butterfield Trail (Bus 8).

Great RV Park, well maintained facilities. Security entrance, friendly helpful staff. Nice size sites full hook ups, pool, other activity areas, well maintained laundry & a dog park. Desert surroundings. There is noise close by. Is off a busy highway, train a mile away and an airforce base close by. None of this bothered us, it would depend The planes were cool to watch and base was far away.
We are full time travelers, and this is by far one of the most well-maintained RV parks we have ever stayed. They are super friendly, and the grounds are immaculate. Not a rock out of place, not even kidding. The only thing I would say is make sure you have food, drinks etc., no good store for about 40 miles. We would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful park. Cannot beat the price. Electrical hook up work perfectly. The security also is friendly and very well trained. Pet friendly. This place is conveniently off the Interstate 8. Do not hesitate to rent a space here
We recently spent two nights here and had a fabulous time. The grounds, community rooms, and bathrooms/showers were immaculate. (I loved the music playing in the bathroom/showers). The check-in process was simple and the super-helpful staff guided us right to our site afterdark and in the middle of a nasty rainstorm. I especially liked the tables at every site and the pool. The owner and staff take great pride in creating a clean, modern, and peaceful place to stay. The location right off the highway and close to a gas station was perfect.
As soon as you pull up at the RV staging check in area you will notice just how well planned, neat and clean this place is. Check in was easy and the people are very kind, friendly and helpful. Don’t let all the info and rules scare you, it’s for good reason, this park is well maintained, clean and updated in working condition. All of our services worked flawlessly and our site (506) was neat, clean and perfectly level. This is a deluxe site and was such a pleasure to have. Worth every penny!! Staff was amazingly helpful. The facilities were so nice and we used the laundry and pool. Very dog friendly, plenty of dog park areas and if you want you can leave the back gate and walk out in the desert. Highly recommend the RV park, we will be back when traveling through this area. We are retired snow birds traveling in motorhome and pulling our car.
