We drove from Naco to Tucson on the Senic highways...absolutely beautiful and very green ..
Spent lots of time there when I was stationed at Ft. Huachuca. There was a legion about lost gold in the mountains.
The Huachuca mountains are a very beautiful mountain range in Southwest Cochise County. Starting at the Mexican border and heading Northwest. There are lots of hiking trails and it is all located within. Coronado National Forest fort Huachuca United States Army Post Coronado National memorial. As well as The Nature conservancy.
Ive spent many days and nites in bear canyon and car canyon in 1969-72
