This was my only option for Thousand Trails resorts in Yuma, the other 7 or more of them are 55+. Real bummer i enjoy spending my winters in Arizona and would like more then 2 options in the state. And this one by far id ky least favorite only due to the size and the layout. This one is small, very little space in between spaces. It does have a palm tree at each site but it doesn't give ya any shade in this blistering heat. The sites are very basic. No fire pit, no picnic table, just gravel and a cement pad and ur basic hookups. The staff was nice, the place was very quiet. I did like that it was in town allowed me to work more then other places. And ur super close to the interstate and groceries. City life in an rv park I guess. I absolutely love the dog park in Yuma.
We we're very happy with this park. It's clean, decent sized sites, friendly people, nice pool and hot tub, and a couple really nice covered community seating areas. It's close to groceries and restaurants and there is a cool store next door that has many metal sculptures and more. Some are huge! There is also a cocktail lounge next door. And several times a month different food trucks come to the park. Nice! The only negative is there can be a lot of traffic noise at times. It bothers some. Not us. We will stay again.
Amazing RV park right off the interstate which is always a plus especially when towing a larger rig.
As soon as we pulled in, we were greeted by the campgrounds host. Very nice guy and introduced to his wife who is also very nice. Laundry facilities were clean and in well working order, pool area was nice also. They had different daily events and even food trucks that visited the property which was a nice touch.
Campground is in a great location in reference to food and entertainment. Will definitely stay again.
Thank you for a relaxing, peaceful, easy stay.
(We stayed here Nov 26 '22 - Dec 10 '22)
Good access from highway sme spots are tight I was givin a site I clearly did not fit in and when asked for a new spot (which there were plenty for our 1 night stay )I seemed have irritated the woman at the front desk we got a new site and it was fine. The highway noise was present. Pool and hot tub were very nice and open 24 hrs! Bathroom was clean but small could have more showers and toilets
