Aqua Vista is an amazing campground!
Very very kid orientated, I even go as far as saying the BEST campground for kids!
Every weekend there is a ton of kid activities planned, as well as adult ones.
Every saturday night there is a dance party for the campers with a DJ, kids and parents alike have fun.
Love holidays? I don't think there is a holiday NOT covered by this campground!
Santa himself comes to visit in July and gives out presents (parents provide)
Hay rides also every Saturday and sunday...as well a giant slip n slide! (Parents...it's fun!) And so so much more.
Staff is wonderful, always very friendly and informational. If they don't have the info, they do their best to find out for you.
Seasonal campers are all very friendly and helpful, the whole campground has a very home away from home feel to it.
Has on site laundry, very well stocked store, always clean bathrooms with shower stalls.
Pool is always clean.
Sites are clean and well kept.
Park for the kids.
Dog park for the dogs!
River access
Someone complained about the wifi...
The weekends are tough on it, with the campground being full.
This is NOT a big city campground (even tho it's a hop skip and jump from albany, Mass and VT)
That's being said it doesn't have big city companies to get Internet service from.
The campground is so active during the day that you really shouldn't need the wifi. Cell service is not shotty, my husband has version and I have AT&T we both get 4g coverage and stream using our cell phones if the need arises.
During the week the wifi is fine, coverage runs the entire park and well down the river (tubing adventures)
We started out as weekend campers for 2 years. This is our 3rd year and we came in may and leave in august.
We will be back next year, and are getting a permanent spot!
Oh before I end this...
Hate going our for those 4th of July fireworks?
This campground does their OWN show! Without all that traffic...and crowding....and and and...I could keep going....but really come try it out for yourself!!!!!!!
Best place ever and for the bad reviews they clean up and do the best they can also so far all of the rude /bad reviews are untrue
The bathrooms were nasty they had human feces in the shower and sink the whole five days we were there no one cleaned them the store on site would buy dollar store stuff and jump the price I will not be returning the ever
Stayed overnight at site 22, right along the Little Hoosic River. We were one of only 2 tents there, the rest were RV. No problem. Adequate power and water hookups. Quiet, family friendly, clean. Bathrooms could use a makeover. They were reasonably clean but old. Urinals didn't flush. Little expensive for 1 night ($43). Other sites we called were 10 to 30% less. Overall good experience.
My husband just loved it here! Great spot for kids even if we didn't have any. The place was clean and the pool was nice. The camp host was a pleasure to work with and everyone was extremely friendly :) the wifi was okay. They mention that they have wifi so often that i thought it would be better... It was slow but we did what we had to... The river was close by but there was an advisory which is not the campgrounds fault! I would love to be around when the river is high and healthy to play in.
