This campground is VERY small with very small sites. There is no pool. There is a very small creek on the backside of the property. There is no WiFi and cell service is very sketchy at best. No dogs are allowed. There is a large grassy area in the middle of the campground with a dumping station and public bathrooms. Ladies bathroom has two sinks, two flush toilets and a shower. The BEST part of this campground is the public shower does not require coins. The mens bathroom has a flush toilet, a urinal, and two showers. There is no play

ground equipment, no snack shack, or pavilion. This campground is U shaped with 10 or 12 sites on one side for small to medium size campers, two sites in the U for larger campers, the other side has 8 or 10 tent sites. There are electric and water hook-ups. There is no scenic view. There were only 5 campers staying here this weekend in July of 2021 and it was extremely quiet.

My husband and I pulled into Dingmans family Campground on August 6. Mr. Dingman was very polite and friendly and from all appearances we were the only ones there. It was a lovely very clean place and had one shower for women and one shower for men and a men’s and females bathrooms. They have electric and water and they also have a dump station which can be hard to find in rural areas. Our rig is 33 feet and we pull a car behind it. We had no problem pulling it into the campground unhooking the car and backing into our site. Mr. Damon even shared his Sunday paper with us! Now I consider that friendly. If you’re ever around the Kinderhook, NY area on route 66 seek this little gem out and try it for a few days.

Camped here one night and it met my needs perfectly. Campsite was level and near a beautiful bustling stream that was a delight to fall asleep and awaken to. Shower was warm, bathroom was clean, toilets flushed, and William was pleasant and kind. Would definitely recommend this campground, not luxurious but a great value. Electric and water come with the site.

We needed a quiet and relaxing overnight stay. This campground did exactly that. The bathhouse was spotless! And yes William the hot water was awesome. Thx for your hospitality.

My husband and I were doing the Empire State Bike Trail and this campground which was neat and peaceful fit the bill. We camped, and for a nominal fee left our pick up truck at the campground for the week while we experienced the trail. Nice warm, showers, picnic tables at every site. This campground has been nicely maintained over the years by a kind and gracious campground host.
