Located 3 miles from Greene. Cook Park is conveniently located one mile east of the Town of Greene, in southern Chenango County. From Route 206, go south on Stein Road, up the hill to Parks Road. Park entrance is 1/2 mile up on the right.
This is Heaven on Earth! Great people, great views, nature abound....and ya gotta love watching the red squirrel high jinks! There are some beautiful trails to hike for beginners, a playground, sports equipment, geocahes, fishing, boating, and a small store for drinks, worms and ice cream.
Great place to camp. We came here twice last year and this year we have a seasonal site. The staff is great!!!! Let's add to this, several years later and still enjoying the place.
We are from South Georgia, and we stayed in Greene with Family. This was a great place to hang out and fish. We would like to camp when we go back. The trails could use some maintenance but everything else is good.
Quiet affordable park. All but 1 site is 30 amp. No pull through sites. Clean and well maintained. Hiking around the lake as well
