My family and I stayed here for a month while waiting to move into our new home. Mr. Gilliam is a very nice man who will work hard to accommodate you. Small and quiet park with full hook up and WIFI. We parked our 42' Open Range and had no issues. Even though we are in a slot facing the airfield, there is little to no noise during the day and none at night.

Next door is a wonderful BBQ restaurant called the Pik & Pig. Great folks and great food. Santa even stopped by for the kids. Wonderful!

I stayed here for 3 months while working and it was all I could ask for. The owner is a very nice man and very well respected all over the country. There is a quaint lil bbq place right in your backyard and watching airplanes, helicopters, military and private were definitely one of my favorite things. Very quiet at night and most of the spots are shaded by the beautiful woods. If you're ever in Carthage and are looking for a spot to pull in and relax....this is a great place to do it!

Nice, clean and spacious campsites. Wasn’t around much as were in town for an event but definitely will stay here for further events in the area.

To be fair I stayed in the older C loop which was all back in spaces with hookups. Very basic and looks more like a storage lot. The newer sites closer to the road appeared to be pull thru, full hook up and would have been a better choice. The campground is on the left as you pull in, don't cross the runway because there are RVs on the other side also.

If you need a place to park your RV with full hookups, and aren’t looking for anything else, this is the place. The spots are all pull through and large enough for any size RV or Travel Trailer.

There are no playgrounds, no fire pits (I don’t think campfires are permitted (at least in the A lots). There is the Pik N Pig restaurant on the property. There is no public bathhouse or toilet, so you will have to use your camper or RV bathroom and shower.

Online checking was super easy. I had to cancel one night and they responded quickly via email and refunded me. It was only $50 a night.

Again, if you just need a place to park with full hookups for as cheap as possible, it’s hard to find full hookups for less than $50.00. I wouldn’t recommend planning your vacation getaway here but the ownership was pretty straightforward and we knew what to expect.

You might get to see some helicopters or airplanes while you are staying.
