Beautiful place to stay. My father lived in this RV park for years and was so very happy here. The maintenance man is so very helpful and the owner is a great man. I love the quiet feeling of this park and the pond is an added bonus!!! Thank you 5 star RV for being such a blessing to me and my father!! ♡ ♡ ♡

Quiet, clean, with great wifi service. The owner is really laid back, though you have to call directly because he's rarely in the office. It has a decent laundry facility and is inexpensive. We stayed for a week in a 26 ft. 30 amp travel trailer. There's a lot of room to walk if you have pets and a lovely pond a good distance away from the parking spaces (not very many mosquitoes---even though it was really wet and warm). There isn't a lot of tree cover everywhere, but for the most part where there is vegetation or coverage manages to block the sun for the most intense parts of the day. The long-term tenants are also quite and friendly. I would recommend this place over a lot of KOAs if you don't want to be around a lot of people, because it's not very busy.

Great for our purposes!

We spent 3 nights at 5-Star and it was perfect for our purposes. We were out and about from 7:30am until 10:00pm. We called on our way into camp, briefly met the owner, setup camp and left for the beginning of our event.

The owner is a very nice man and lives on the premises as do his adult children. He confirmed how many nights we were staying and said that we would settle up before we left. We had full hookups including cable. Everything went very smoothly for us. They honor all RV discount programs. There are not many trees at the pads but a few places where shade might be available - we didn't ask the owner. But, he was out watering new trees so tree shade might change.

There was some road noise during the day - but not at night. We found that the noise description on their website was accurate.

This is a great place for an overnight or a few nights where you will be out and about in Tyler. It was perfect for our needs and we will stay there next time we are in Tyler.

It's ok for a few nights wouldn't recommend long-term. Stayed a few months myself. Free wifi is equivalent to dial up speed and frequently goes out for days at a time. The manager was nice and understanding but isn't available most of the time. Lawn maintenance is a joke. All facilities have a run down look. Very loud at night from gunshots to loud music.
