Campsite: Cedar River Campground

When we called to reserve a site we asked for two things, full hook up and be able to get satellite (Direct TV). The person was very nice on the phone stating she had a site for us. We backed into site which was tight but do-able. My husband plugged in our power surge protector and it showed issues. The owners weren't there but she did call back, gave us a few choices of other sites which we didn't fit. She even had someone (I assume CG Host) drive my husband around looking at other possible sites. None would work for our rig. We were disappointed but had no choice to look else where. We asked for refund and were told according to the cancellation policy nothing would be due. She did say she'd tell them it was an emergency and would see if they (who "they" are I don't know, possibly management company) would do anything but it's been 2 days and have heard nothing. It wasn't like we said "changed our minds, we don't want to stay here". We had no choice!

Campsite: Indian Heritage RV Park

Came here for the race and loved it. Michele was great to work with, we were close enough to the track that I walked there. I would have loved to stay longer just to visit other parts of the area.

October 2022 - so we came back and scheduled our stay longer than just the race weekend so we were able to visit a few places and see more of Martinsville. We went to Eggleston Falls then a hiking trail close by then Fall Creek. Both pretty close. Thank you again for another great visit here Michele. We very much appreciate your hospitality!!!

Campsite: Chief Logan State Park

We were staying in Man, WV and any trails in that area were ATV trails, was so thrilled to find the wonderful SP. Miles of hiking trails and for the most part well marked and maintained. I hike with my dog and she's done great on them as well. By the time we leave it will have been 10 days in this area and without this park I would have been bored. I will say West Virginia is a beautiful state and will visit again.
