This place is a gem!! Very well maintained, neat and clean with ample picnic spots available. Take a short hike to reach the Monument and enjoy the stunning views of the valley below.
MD resident pay 2$ entry fee while outsiders pay 4$ per vehicle.
By far the most beautiful state park I have visited in Virginia. The varied topology and splendid lush green meadows comforts the feet like a carpet. There are plenty of trails, we started on the Piedmont trail followed by the North Ridge trail to South Ridge before merging back to Boston Mill Road.
The entire experience was a WoW.
Pictures do not do justice, so do visit the park and enjoy Nature at its best.
One of the best state parks I have visited. There are plenty of picnic area tables on lush green carpet like grass and it has cabins too.
There are lots of trails to do, but the best is Cranny Crow Outlook trail.
The park restroom needs upliftment and park service should create designated parking lot for White Oaks trail (Cranny crow).
