Disappointed ! Felt like the whole campground was dirty but especially around the hosts area. They need to clean up!! Lots of trash everywhere and during hunting season the whole place was full of hunters. No families at all. The guys across from us killed a deer and just left the carcass laying under the trailer for days ! It was upsetting!
I like this park except for stickers! Poor dogs can’t walk on the “grass” due to all the stickers. Tons of deer to enjoy and lots of species of birds! Beware do not arrive early we had to wait before they would let us in! Sites are large and level gravel. Picnic table and fire ring!
Lake is low! Walking on beach is fun. Saw two eagles a deer and lots of pelicans! Campsite was level and large. Nice fire in the evening! Great bike riding! Friendly hosts and rangers!
Great place to study history of the natives of this country. We loved our camp site and the nearby museum. Well worth the time to visit here! We were camped right next to mountain that were so pretty!
Quiet, Calm, Green Grass! A small but perfect place to rest from your trip or use as a home base for exploring the area. Great full hook ups, small laundry and lots of shade and birds. It's so peaceful, we felt like we were parked in a garden or oasis. We are in a 37 ft travel trailer. Super friendly hosts who work very hard to keep the grounds green and clean!
