Staff very friendly at time of check-in and escorted us to our site. Try to avoid site(s) 33/34 as they are on top of each other and it is like camping in a parking lot. Many other sites that seemed more traditional and more spacious went unused. This KOA seems limited on space and there is almost too much packed in. The restrooms were modern and clean/stocked.
This is our 3rd of 4 KOA's, on this trip from WA to UT, and we have stayed at many others. This KOA is above average in all aspects. Friendly staff, very clean well maintained facilities and grounds, decent sized full hook up sites. It was quiet for a good night's sleep. Would stay again if we pass through. I tried to use it as a good "home base" to Bryce and Zion but it was too far after making those drives.
Smallish campground with only 40+ sites. The sites were large and pretty clean. There is only vault toilets but plenty of them, and mostly clean. Really the only river access was from the day use area and the rest of the campground was very high bank. The trail in the day use area is closed due to downed trees. Many of them look as if they have been down longer than a single season. There was a good out and back trail passed the "9.5 ft douglas fir tree" which connected to other trails across the bridge. This campground was a bit further than I thought to Mt Rainier National Park. There was one bigger campground, and closer to the park, called Silver Springs several miles down the road.

Ok so the good...
Very quiet (except the natural sound of the river), easy access to great trails/the Sunrise side of the park and it was clean.
Then, the not as good...
Unless you tent camp you could be out of luck; given it is 1st come 1st serve and most sites are not RV friendly.
There are rocks placed in the middle of some sites to prevent larger vehicles. Why?
There are 6 sites marked "closed" due to hazardous trees. If you had time to make a sign then take out the hazard.
If need a flush toilet loop B is not your loop.
We spent 2 nights (Sat/Sun) at this small campground & overall liked the experience. By late Sunday 12 of 16 sites were empty. At night he road noise ceased and we could hear the river. Had a huge space & most of the sites around the perimeter were fairly well secluded. Found access down to the Tieton River which was a great place to soak our toes in the heat of the day. If you have children use caution around the cold swift river. While there are no hikes from the campground there are trails up and down the White Pass area. There is only one hand water pump for the entire campground and vault toilets.
