Campsite: Pine Lake Campground

Fun campground off the beaten path. Water and bathrooms provided. Lake is good for floating and fishing. ATV trails. 35 min drive to Bryce. Friendly campground hosts. Wood available for $7/bundle. Shaded campsite with plenty of room for tents.

Campsite: Balsam (uinta-wasatch-cache National Forest, Ut)

This campground is dog and kid friendly. It is the highest campground up Hobble Creek, so there is not as much traffic and people. Good shade and trees for hammocking and a stream running by. Vault toilets were not unpleasant. Haul own water in and haul out own trash. Picnic table and cement pad with fire ring. Nice clear spots for tents. Free range cattle roam outside fenced campground.

Campsite: Uinta National Forest Hope Campground

Very close to Orem/Provo. 20 min drive. No cell service. Took 20 young women. Did a walk up double site #12 on a weekday. Good flat areas for big tents. Plenty of trees. Water source is turned off. Outhouses had TP but weren't terribly clean.
