Campsite: Campbell Park at Box Canyon Dam

Great little place. Water is warm for swimming; however if the fountain is out it gets dirty and stinks.

Campsite: Klahowya Campground

Great campground. You feel secluded and there is plenty of space and nature between the lots so you don’t see or hear your neighbors. A river runs close by. There’s water access and a bathroom.

Campsite: Goodell Creek Campground — Ross Lake National Recreation Area

Holly cow, this is heaven on earth. The most prettiest campground I’ve been too. I love camping. There are no fancy facilities but the location is wonderful. They do have trash cans and outhouses. No showers. Also have potable water. There is a river right next to the campground with beautiful turquoise water coming from lake Diablo. Smells like nature heaven

Campsite: Sterling Point — Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area

Love this place. It’s so beautiful and you can walk in trails, swim, watch the birds, and do whatever you want to do. Also, dog friendly. I let my dogs run around as there aren’t huge crowds of people and my dogs love it. Occasionally they’ll see a deer and chase it for a little. They also love swimming in the water even tho it’s freezing pretty much year round. Just do dog stuff.
