Trailhead and campground is very nice with plenty of parking space. The road back here is not maintained and not suitable for low clearance vehicles. I made it back in a Subaru outback with AT tires, but there were a few spots where it was necessary to choose my line carefully to avoid high centering on rocks. It will take you a bit of time to drive back here past cross creek, but it is definitely worth it.

Nice small campground with 3 campsites with a table and a fire ring and a small older pit toilet. There are also many additional sites along the road before and after this campground, although the road after the campground is not maintained, so would not be good for low clearance vehicles.
