Cross Creek Campground is located near the southeast end of Park Reservoir. Numerous large and small lakes are nearby, making it an excellent location for fishing enthusiasts.
From Sheridan, WY, take WY 332 south about 4 miles, then south on 335 about 8 miles. Road becomes FSR 26, travel another 11 miles. Turn left on FSR 293 and go about 4 miles to campground.
Wish they kept up the restroom a bit more. Very quite, you can burn in the rings during a burn ban. Overall nice camp ground.
This campground has been removed!!! The tables, fire rings, and rest room, have all been removed by the Forest service.
Love this camp ground. It can be difficult to get back into after a hard rain but that us part of its charm. But remember to pack plenty if insect repellent and watch for ticks
Nice small campground with 3 campsites with a table and a fire ring and a small older pit toilet. There are also many additional sites along the road before and after this campground, although the road after the campground is not maintained, so would not be good for low clearance vehicles.
