The Hogan and Luce Campground has picnic tables, toilet facilities, food storage boxes, horse trailer parking, horse stanchions and hitching rails.
This site is located 18 miles north of Cody off Wyoming State Highway 120. Turn left onto Park County Road 7RP and continue approximately five miles; look for the Hogan-Luce Trailhead sign and take a left onto the one-mile-long access road to the site.
Gorgeous spot with proper camping spots and bear boxes. Wanted to stay for more than one night but very drunk local men would not stop harassing me and I did not feel safe.
Nice out of the way place to camp near Cody, WY. There is a pit toilet but no other services. Camp sites are right on the lake. There is good bird watching here.
Hogan is a hidden gem! The views are amazing and it's pretty quiet. We swam, hiked, and paddle boarded. The camp sites were recently upgraded with new tables, fire rings, graveled parking spaces, and more. The only downside is the wind. It is usually nice but when the wind kicks up at night, it was literally like a hurricane and we thought the camper was going to blow over. It may be best to only visit during the day!
