We came here for a reset/birthday/Christmas trip. This place is so perfect. It’s quiet, clean, and relaxing. The owners invited us to be a part in the community events as it was almost Christmas Eve, the park was lit up with Christmas lights and the residents were very friendly and welcoming. There is a walking trail, dog park, you name it. The ramada area and showers were very well kept and the employees were amazing and nothing but helpful! We have zero complaints and we will be back very soon!
Recently stayed here with our family on a road trip. Our kids loved it! They loved the trails next to the creek, swings, and game room. Beautiful big trees, and grounds were well kept. We really appreciated the super clean bathrooms.
We have been going for 3 years to Zane Grey and sadden on how rude the office people have become. This year I’m having knee replacements as of March. No choice, it’s life, but the nice people in their office are no longer there. Our reservation was for better than a month. The man was rude (2/7/24) even hung up on my husband. And of course no refund of $250.00. Dennis and Jo in Colorado :(
We are currently staying at Zane Grey long term and we absolutely love it! The grounds are so beautiful, the staff is super friendly, and we and our dogs love all the amenities! They take excellent care of the facilities and the grounds. I love the clean bathrooms and our pups love the trails and dog park! This is such a beautiful spot!
We have been coming to Zane Grey for 9 years. It is a cozy campground nestled in large trees along West Clear Creek with walking paths along the creek and plenty of areas to take a break to enjoy the scenery. Close enough to many tourist areas and hiking trails without feeling like we are smashed into an RV parking lot.
Most valuable to us
is the effort the owner and staff make to give us a welcoming experience. From the clean and attractive restrooms, a comfortable game room, an outdoor pavilion for music and movies to the Saturday morning coffee and donuts and central campfire which encourages socialization and storytelling.
We have built friendships with campers from Alaska to Mexico, from the East coast to Washington and many of the states and provinces in between.
