Peaceful property, beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast- just a few of the benefits of staying at red tail ranch. Deborah’s attention to detail through every aspect of our stay was totally appreciated! The breakfast was top-notch and from a foodie like me that’s saying something. It kept us full until 2p after hiking Yosemite and working up an appetite! Yosemite valley is realistically an hour away, but IMO it’s totally worth coming “home” to the comfortable ranch every night. We will definitely be coming back!

Not that Red Tail Ranch needs another 5-star review, but here's another!

We spend three glorious nights at Red Tail Ranch while we visited Yosemite.

It's easy access to the National Park, which was great. It's about a 10min drive to a small town with grocery stores and a couple restaurants. But far enough out of the town to be on it's own and feel brilliantly remote. We saw plenty of deer and even a coyote.

Highly recommended!

Deborah and Kevin were the most delightful hosts and their ranch was absolutely beautiful. It felt like coming home to an oasis after long days in the park! The hot tub was a lovely added bonus and the serenity of the ranch would be very hard to beat. There’s a downtown about 20 min away with a few restaurants and the drive to Yosemite is full of great views. On top of it all, Deborah makes breakfast for guests everyday at 8am and it’s delicious. It seriously feels like home while you’re there. We would recommend this place to anyone!

This was the best choice ever! We chose to stay in the Meadow House. This was a home away from home. It has absolutely everything you could need . The outside kitchen is great. We had a kitchen and priority goes to those in units without kitchens but we didn’t see others during our stay and we grilled out. The jacuzzi was great after a day in Yosemite too! The kitchen has a gas stove , two dishwashers , all small appliances you could ask for and enough dinnerware and silverware for more people than you will provably have in the house. The owners take great pride in their property from the gardens to patios to the inside … we ate breakfast each morning with the hummingbirds … . This house has three bedrooms and each bed was very comfortable. You can not go wrong. The proximity to Yosemite is nice even though we were there when Big Oak Flat Road was closed and the detour made our trip into Yosemite a 2.5 hour drive one way. I mean what can you do but go with the flow. But when that road is back in service your drive to/from the park will be worth it….away from the crowds and soaking in the jacuzzi afterwards. We visited the local grocery store upon arrival and stocked up on our breakfast needs, drinks and snacks and we cooked one dinner at the house …. I was very surprised by the selection in the grocery store …. Mar-Val. Tons of brands I typically buy at home in PA and the prices were not inflated . All in all this was the best choice and I am glad it was available. I posted pics of the inside (not bedrooms….those on the website are good and not littered with our stuff lol). From an ex travel consultant , you can’t go wrong with choosing Red Tail . The one and only thing the owners could supply in this house would be a fly swatter lol. Mosquitoes flies and bees seem to be waiting right outside the door when it is opened lol.

BOOK YOUR WEEKEND HERE IF YOUR GOING TO YOSEMITE!

My, now, husband and I stayed in the meadow house from June 15-18th and it was perfect.

We originally booked red tail ranch through Airbnb and were planning on eloping in Yosemite that same weekend.

But due to snow we had to make other arrangement.

Luckily, red tail ranch actually host wedding. The price was very reasonable too.

The house is in great shape, super clean, and it feels like home right away.

The property has beautiful views from all angles and the back patios are perfect for nightly hang outs or enjoying the fire pit with family.

We could not thank Rob, Len, and the whole crew for everything they did. It was a beautiful weekend.

We will definitely be back and will be telling all of our friends.
