Campground is nice and tucked in. Most sites have a buffer of trees, creating shade and whatnot. Not too crowded together. Standard amenities like fire rings, picnic tables, vault toilets, potable water, and bear boxes.

The real gem here is the incredible scenery. Pictures can't really tell the tale but as you can see, this valley is a thing of beauty. There are more open sites down below the campground but a lot of them look to be for outfitters as there were a lot of horse and mule guides. Truly real life cowboys a workin'! Tons of open range cattle too, so don't freak out at night when you hear them rustling around and mooing like crazy! My bro and I ended up staying in a primitive sure just up the road on the left before you get down to the campground but beware weary, it is pretty but definitely Grizzly area for sure!

Stayed there for 7days.... a great horse camp with good corrals..

remote area used mostly by outfitters and locals...

long and slow 24 mile ride in.. but had no problems with our trailers ..I love that its remote... never seen another horse rider the whole week but one outfitter going up to get ready for hunting season...

The camp hosts are the best. Cleanest vault toilet I’ve ever seen. This is our favorite place to go camping. So many people come back every year that you make friends with them and look forward to seeing them again the next year. 15 years of memories so far!
