The trail head leads to a very steep switchback trail that gains a few hundred feet very quickly on loose rock. A narrow pack trail at that point, the trail follows along the hillside passing through a variety of forest zones. Not a lot of easily accessible camping locations, and minimal epic vistas. This trail is OK if you wanna go hiking, but it's appeal is limited.
