The Woodlands Acres Campground is a 400-acre family-owned and operated property. The number of sites has been limited to enhance the private up north feel.
In addition to the amazing rolling terrain the Woodlands Acres property is blessed to have three ponds as well as a 48 acre lake for fishing, kayaking and swimming.
While the campground is seasonal, Woodlands Acres has three great rental properties all year round! Country home and cozy cabin for 8 quests each or the beautiful Lake house with the ability to house up to 20 we have plenty of room for your adventure.
Now under private ownership this is a great campground. The fishing lay a canvas swimming pond, numerous trails and hundreds of acres to explore. Great place for corporate get together's group outings have a really nice house to rent with a beautiful dock overlooking the lake. These pictures were taken at night off the deck of the house.
Great campground!!!! While it only recently re-opened the grounds have been well maintained and the bathroom/bathhouse is well maintained and close to all campsites. It has a nice little park for kids, basketball court, volleyball and a beach where you can kayak or just relax. A perfect place if you just want to stay in one spot and not leave. The staff was wonderful and just a text away for any of your needs
It’s also only about 5 minute drive from sage lake and 28 minutes from west branch!!!
This will be our go to campground anytime we want to stay near safe lake!!!!
We had so much fun camping here there’s a slide to the pond they are so very nice and amazing place to go it’s spaced out nicely and there’s a basketball court and a playground and climbing wall they got all kinds of fun stuff, staff are very nice and very welcoming it’s really nice place definitely coming back want to have friends and family come together it would be great
Stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The place was amazing! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The campgrounds, bathrooms, and other amenities were clean and kept up. The private lake was unbelievable. We will definitely be going back there.
Absolutely beautiful place especially if you have children! So much natural fun for the kids to immerse themselves in. The Owner and staff went above and beyond to make everything comfortable and relaxing.
Tent camping definitely available! Stunning Sage Lake with inexpensive boat and kayak rentals. Pond with beach, wood raft, swing and long built in ground slide!!! Woodlands Acres is a hidden gem and we are delighted to have found it 👏👏👏
