Very nice state forest campground. Nice boat launch and a very nice park that over looks the river. Sites are big enough for full size campers and still have room to park. None of the sites are on the river so if that's what your looking for this place isn't for you.
It was nice spend time with family, prices are higher, and it's rustic, bathroom stunk. We have more people paying for state park passes more than ever because I collect these fees, there no reason to increase fees what so ever. Don't ruin it for people, you will end up losing and people won't enjoy nature. These are our parks not yours! Leave them alone and take care if them. You have your job because of us and I loved the parks
We went last week end to check out the sites.
They are all very spacious with some privacy between lots by small trees. They all had metal fire rings in every lot. The vault toilets were a little dirty, but we have our own bathroom in the rv, so I am not too worried about that.
We are planning on staying next weekend for a couple of days.
