Camped here in 2022 while passing thru on the trans wisconsin adventure trail. Camp ground was ok...kinda weird. People walking by at all hours. Public bath room was a mess and needle caps everywhere. Will prob go somewhere else next time.
Did a bmw rally with a bunch of riders. We camped, used the firepits, building for food & there are bathrooms with showers (the showers are like most camp grounds.. there is 1 in males & 1 female)
I've been going here for the annual Madison BMW Club GR3 rally for years. The surrounding area is a great place for exploring the back roads on a motorcycle.
This is a great campground for singles, families or friends. There is a basketball court and 3 playgrounds near by immediately and even a river and baseball diamond if you enjoy recreation. Also the last thing to add is that there is also a gas station and a couple bar/restaurant's and even a motel that are all family-friendly!
Nice inexpensive campground. Site with water and 50amp service for $20 a night. Great access and sites large enough for the biggest class A motorhome on Parkview Drive .The sites on Pine St. have constant fast traffic as Pine St. is a shortcut of highway 131 , It needs a speed bump.
