Beautiful park, excellent views of the river and valley below. Cool little historical farmstand across the road as well. The views are great, and you can get in and out pretty quick. I highly recommend seeing this and Wyalusing State Park on the same day!

A quaint state park. The tent camping spots are private and spacious (and some awesome walk in camping sites for an incredible view). I would avoid site 39 simply because it's by the garbage bins and the smell wafts over in the heat. The running water bathrooms are one of the cleanest state park bathrooms I've experienced! The trails are on the smaller side but come with incredible views of the Mississippi. I recommend a sunset hike!

Stayed at a group campsite. It was very spacious and a really nice place to camp. Other than hearing the train horn every now and then, which honestly wasn't that bad, it was nice and quiet! Shower facilities are pretty nice. Also, definitely make a stop at the overlook.

Cute little state park. The governors house is cool! Finally got to camp at the coveted walk in sites. As promised, beautiful views. The two pics of sunsets are from site A and D. My only grip is other campers tend to walk all the way down to see the sites kind of putting you on display. There is a walking trail that heads toward the walk ins but is clearly marked, it starts before the sites. Lots of bunnies out at night! Only had two coons visit one night but they ran off quick. There is a train that runs at night..more so during the day..but still noticeable.
