Absolutely a very quiet and wooded environment. Our site was kinda funky to get into because trees and rocks are close to the road and driveway entering site. This site was recommended to us when we made the reservation but we found others that we preferred when walking around.

What thing we found very odd is that there were no bathrooms open, yes we had full full hook up and we have a bathroom and shower but at times when you are walking around or by the lake you don’t always want to walk back to your camper. Pool was closed but we didn’t care. Saw and interacted with Linda on the first day and she was very helpful and nice.

Campground is minutes away from Rhinelander and shopping and gas stations.

We would definitely go back.

Very Rude owners of this campground or manager we have a small dog she is a chihuahua and poops very little poops the lady says she walked through our site (what campground manager, owner or personnel walk through someones campsite just to walk through it unless someone reported something) and seen poop there was no poop she said she pushed it with a leaf towards a green dog toy well not even remotely believable because my dog does not play with toys and we pick up all poop i tried taking a shower and almost melted my skin off you can not adjust the temp of the water we were going to book two more sites for next weekend and she tells me we can not have a fire really high because she could see it from the basement of the office i call bull on that because there was a camper in the site next to ours blocking us from the office and their fire was high she then told me we can not chop down trees well we didn't chop down any trees but my grandsons did grab some logs and dead branches off the ground then last night my niece and oldest granddaughter walked to the bathroom and i got a phone call with both of them crying because 2 black dogs came after them off leashes very vicious so i had to go walk and get them my oldest grandson is autistic and he was kicked out of the park because they say he was banging on the equipment but the minute he got back to the site you could hear the banging again and you never see the manager unless she is riding around on her golf cart but the office is closed today and someone still kicked him out of the park but she can be no where to be found otherwise

We stayed only a few nights during the middle of the week. The campground was about 35% occupied. Lots if open spaces.

Our site, 38, was deep, but I had to have my camper pulled forward to more level ground. There was barely enough room to park my truck in the site as well.

The property has full hook ups, which was nice.

Very quiet during our stay. They have a lot of rules and prohibit firearms, meaning only the bad guys can have guns in the campground. To me that is backward thinking. Creating a gun free zone does not make it safer.

They also don't like ebikes (motorized bikes) and have a speed limit of 5 mph, which is generally ignored by the kids riding bikes.

The website is antiquated with a copyright date of 2011. It is not mobile friendly, but has good info. The website sort of mirrors the park in a way.

There is no internet service offered and my T-Mobile service was non existent. Not really a problem if you want to unplug for the world for a few days.

It is a quick ride to Rhineland which could be necessary as the camp store is not well stocked, but sells a lot of camp branded clothing.

My site only had a 50 amp recepticle which was not compatible for my 30 amp plug. A shopping trip to Walmart for a $10 adapter.

Showers and restrooms were clean. The showers had a push button for water, but you could not control temps.

Quite a distance down a narrow, winding road, West Bay camping resort was nice. It is clearly more geared towards tents and smaller rigs, so it was a bit tight getting back there with a 40ft 5er, but it is manageable. Very quiet and peaceful. Not much to the beach and boating area unless you are in a lakeside cabin. Heated pool and great price!

This is a wonderful campground. Thickly wooded, beautiful landscape, and everything you could possibly want for camping enjoyment. Linda greeted us warmly and continued to be such great help throughout our stay. Can't say enough positive for this place!
