I'm from Buffalo and have been to over 40 casino's and never had a better dealer than Carroyle Seal!!! She made my experience here amazing and had so many laughs. I know if I'm ever back this way I will definitely stop just to see her!

Had so much fun at the Nugget! The hostess stopped by and talked with me while I was playing the slots. She made sure I had everything I needed and went above and beyond to ensure I was having fun. I have never had that happen before. I felt special and looked after. The slots were tons of fun to play as well. What a great experience!!

Cons: This is an old, very basic hotel. The rooms do not have a fridge or microwave so we had to fill up some bags with ice to keep food items we had cold. The furniture and decor are old and outdated, with the wallpaper peeling off. There were holes in the bathroom door and some weird foam stuff on the bottom of the door that came off every time the door was opened. There were few outlets and nothing would stay plugged in (the plugs would just fall right out). There was nowhere near the hotel entrance to park, there is a parking garage but be prepared to lug all your stuff through the casino to get to the hotel. Only one elevator was functioning.

Pros: The view of the atrium is nice, we even had a balcony. It is part of the casino which makes it easily accessible along with some places to eat. Its very basic for a night if all you need is a bed and bathroom.

Some of the rooms still have work to be done. One of the rooms we were in, was supposedly finished, but had patches on the wall...otherwise nice. Very nice showers, cool lighting details.

Our steakhouse meals were excellent! The last day at breakfast things were not cooked correctly, pancakes were cold, people who ordered the same thing revived what appeared to be different menu selections...edible but not the best dining experience.

Overall, we had a great time, casino host Doug is very nice, very professional and very attentive.

This place has been doing well lately, especially if you enjoy playing slots. They have a wide selection of amazing new games, and for high rollers, they offer generous comps. I highly recommend this place. I won some nice jackpots last time I was here. Request the new rooms, as they are really great. If you're a high roller, ask for Douglas. I'm glad I've been playing more here than at the other place. The food is not bad at all! However, the steakhouses are severely lacking. They need to do something about that. That would be a one-star rating for me, but everything else food-wise is easily four stars.

Douglas is the best casino host ever. He’s very genuine and cares about you and he really takes care of all your needs.
