About Campground

This is one of the most beautiful places to live or visit in Vermont.

My home for the past 50 years is right next to a stunning waterfall and brook.

I love sharing this space with others. I have 3 separate campsites, each with their own pathways and privacy from each other.

Your visit here will allow you many choices of ways to relax.

My land abuts the 700 acres of school property behind me and I have trail and path access right from my yard to many miles of an old road bed for walking, biking, hiking, or exploring the length of the brook.

There is a waterfall across the street.

At least 5 different swimming holes and the water is cold and refreshing!

I am 20 minutes from the state capital, Montpelier, Vt.

You have access to my delicious pure clean spring water from the hose.

There is a pizza/restaurant/bar in my town just 6 minutes away.

Please, no fireworks, you'll get me banned by the town officials!

If you camp here you will feel like you are in a forest, but will be able to drive anywhere with ease.

Directions

Turn right on Rte 2 when you see the sign for Twinfield School. Drive up the dirt road, 1/10th of a mile, first house on the right, drive onto the large grass lower yard to park your car and it is a short walk to each site. Each site has it's own pathway and it's own private, biodegradable bathroom facility. Each site has a fire pit, table & chairs (lawn furniture) and wood is available at $10 per bundle. Clean spring water available by hose at back of house.

Loved the place. It’s well secluded and quiet all day long. Has clean bathrooms and small store right on the campground. They also sell beer and free coffee

Gorgeous campground amongst statuesque maples and an amazing sunset. We tent camped here and it was magical. Plus somehow it managed to have virtually no bugs (seriously). Great location with close proximity to town & trails. Complete with water & electric at the campsite, on-site store (think Jiffy Pop, S'mores, TP, beverages, firewood, etc), & clean, nice, real bathrooms with SHOWERS. That's right, clean bathrooms with showers! Nice crowd of other outdoor enthusiasts around. Best campground around, would definitely recommend to a friend.

Perfect campsite near East Burke! This is a great little site off the beaten path. I stayed to go camping the night before mountain biking at Kingdom Trails. Maple Brook is a beautiful loop that had a total of 5 people staying there when I was there. I was the only one at the tent sites. Some of the camper sites at the back of the campground have an amazing view of the neighboring mountains. The store and bathrooms were new feeling and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

I love this campground!

Restroom, shower, camp site, everything is very clean. Small and cozy, perfect for few days of camping/mtb! The view is amazing 🤩

The only negative point is the sites are close to each others!
