My Daughter attended. Great school for kids with social anxiety, teachers care for the children.

I've been told that Cottage Grove does not allow Christmas Holiday programs any longer, I want to know why not?

To be honest the district is good but there are a couple problems you see I was supposed to go to Woodbury middle School however I ended up going to cgms last minute just the day after the Woodbury open house I went to liberty ridge elementary School and to be honest I won't be seeing any familiar faces except for the ones from summer school however it's not a bad district but it does have its fair share of problems because the school switching was kind of last minute 😒 the day after the open house they literally told my parents that I had to go to oltman and that they literally transferred all of my stuff to oltman middle School but other than that it's a decent School district however please stop doing stuff last minute 833 because when we tried telling your district and asking if it was okay if I went to the same school when living in a different part of Minnesota you said yes however now you're telling me no that's kind of last minute you guys should have said something earlier anyway I won't lie there is some good schools in this district other than all the problems I just listed it's good for elementary school I would probably recommend liberty ridge or Woodbury elementary if you live in Woodbury and then if you live in Woodbury I would recommend Woodbury middle School if you live in cottage Grove I don't care however it's a good district with its fair share of problems

Middleton Elementary ~ Where to begin- Jullie Nielsen should be removed as principal of this and any other school. The passive aggressive bullying that takes place in this school by teachers and then backed by a sub standard principal is sickening. My son has been attacked by a monster of a teacher. his self-esteem destroyed, and his education...suspended due to drama from an adult teacher and her leader- I am referencing a third grader. I have spoken with numerous other parents who also believe that Julie should be removed. I find it ironic that a principal WHO DOES NOT RESIDE in the same community, OR STATE. Took a leave to pursue her political agenda of raising taxes for a district she does not reside in.

Moreover, children are suffering. She has NO business working with children and instead should follow her political aspirations in her home state of WISCONSIN! My son has been bullied by his teacher, his teacher has broken privacy rules and also violated Gavyn's personal rights and to this, Julie does and will do nothing but protect her teacher.

This is not the case with other teachers in this school. I have signed statements from numerous parents stating that Julie is mean and makes their child's teacher "apologize". Sadly, Jill Hildebrand was her first hire as a principal and her ego and pride have destroyed a little boy. I have had my son evaluated by a private counselor, and a school counselor. Both which show the damage Jill and Julie have done to him.

My advice to any parent considering Middleton is this, beware of Julie Nielsen and Jill Hilderbrand. I am raising awareness to prevent any more children from being damaged by their outright abuse!

Our voice, as tax payers, and their employers is the only thing that will correct and stop this type of abuse and behavior by "adults".

if your child has an IEP Do Not let them Join Next Step!!!!!!! My Daughter on her Sr year signed up after being told by Ms Spoto that she can quit the Next Step program at ANYTIME and get her diploma. Now that she signed up. She now has 2 kids working full time she is told she NOW has to take a parenting class and find a new place to live with her family as well as finish her initial class to get her diploma. My Daughters Diploma is litterly being held hostage. Please do not let the staff talk you into joining save yourself the .Hardship and Headache
