This horse camp has access to many mixed use trails. There is a highline in each site and a stock only water trough with access to the Quartz Creek Trail and Lewis River Trail. There are nine camp sites and parking for 10 trailers and 15 vehicles.
From Cougar, Washington drive east on Forest Road 90 past Lower Lewis Falls Campground to Forest Road 93. Turn left on Forest Road 93 and go 1/8 mile to the horse camp on the right.
All 673 of the mice that came out after we went to bed were quite well behaved.
A favorite place to base camp when space is available, no cell service until 20 min away at Eagle Cliff
This is an amazing spot for camping!!! I love that there is not a ton of people there and it had trails all around it for hikes! The kiddos love this place because there is a creek that they can go swim in and go explore!
