It was a nice campground but the portapottys were all overflowing last time I visited.
Beautiful county owned place BUT for the unwelcoming Park Ranger. Stopped at a site to eat lunch, then walk around to determine which spot I was going to choose for the night. Only 2 other vehicles/sites occupied. 15 minutes in, a Park Ranger stopped and told me the campground is private and if I didn't pay for the space I was eating at, I couldn't use it and to leave. Never asked my intentions nor left room to explain. So I immediately left and stayed at Raser State Park instead.
Very nice spacious campsites, some are pull through. Clean and quiet.
I love this site. perfect little get away and not too far away. Also reasonably priced at just 10$ per night. the sites are well kept. picnic tables, fire pit and portable potty places nearby all sites. They do not have water and there's only one good river access trail and it's a bit steep. overall a great place to go camp.
There is a beautiful creek that is right on the edge of one of the campsites, it's amazing!
