Beautiful county owned place BUT for the unwelcoming Park Ranger. Stopped at a site to eat lunch, then walk around to determine which spot I was going to choose for the night. Only 2 other vehicles/sites occupied. 15 minutes in, a Park Ranger stopped and told me the campground is private and if I didn't pay for the space I was eating at, I couldn't use it and to leave. Never asked my intentions nor left room to explain. So I immediately left and stayed at Raser State Park instead.
