This was our worst experience here. We ended up in 3 different rooms our first night. The first room was clearly never cleaned, dirty towels and garbage everywhere. The second room was leaking from the sprinkler system, which soaked a good chunk of the carpet. Our third room was actually clean and usable. The entite property has gone downhill, the gym is closed, the game toom is closed, the bowling alley is closed. The cafe is only open 5 days a week (closed monday and tuesday) from 12-8. Unfortunately I can't recommend staying here anymore.

May have been expecting way too much, but you really get what you pay for. Especially frustrating is that the bar/restaurant is closed Monday + Tuesday, which happened to be when we stayed, and really jaded our opinion.

Grounds aren't the prettiest (which is no surprise being a former base annex), but are well maintained. Our first room had a really funky smell and the second one off had interesting stains on the sheets.

I'm sure the cottages are nice, but I can't recommend staying in the hotel until it gets the updates it really needs.

I can't rate the rooms, but I can for the RV spots. It was well maintained, and easy to reach the beach. The public bathrooms are super clean. I loved hearing the waves from my spot. I am def going again!

Let me preface this with the fact that I normally don’t write negative reviews. I like staying here. It’s close to the beach, and rooms are usually very clean. Front desk and night maintenance crew are very nice. I stay here many times a year for work assignments, and I have now had two instances in the past 6 months where my room key has either not worked upon check-in or like tonight, has stopped working. The first time, I called the number listed for the night maintenance crew. Nobody answered the phone for 2 hours, it took them another 45 minutes to get here to resolve the situation, and I finally got into my room after midnight. This was very frustrating given that I travel from out of state to work here, had been traveling all day, and had to work the next day. The very nice gentleman who helped resolve the issue said that the place had undergone new management and the manager is okay with the grounds not being staffed between (at the time) 8 and 10 pm. Management, please do not leave your grounds unstaffed for several hours. This is dangerous should an emergency occur with nobody to assist your guests. It took me until after 11 pm to get back into my room again.
