The Lakeview Recreation Site is located 8 miles north of Odessa, Washington. Take Highway 21 north from Odessa, go 5 miles to Lakeview Ranch Road, turn left and travel 3 miles on a gravel road to Lakeview Ranch. Be sure to plan for a 1.5 to 2 hour drive from Spokane, Washington.
Nice place to hike. The lakes are dry at this time. Very peaceful. The house is gone but the barns are still there. Ready room are across the the road where the boat launch is when there is water in the lakes
Out of the way lonely place with access to hiking in scablands- intended for stock use, but interesting place to explore. Federal/BLM place
