From I-90 (exit 264): Go 1 mi N on Clear Lake Rd. Off base. 14 mi.
Clear Lake Beach is a clean, well kept place to stop for a day in the sun by the water. I think in this case, my photos will speak more for this place than I can write.
Such a great little park! It has Sandy beach, grass, tables, covered seating, nice restroom, play set, and an aluminum dock that some folks were fishing off of. Such a little gem that we stumbled upon on a drive.
Awesome place to go for a swim!
Not too many motorized vehicles or ducks, so true to its name, the water is very 'clear' here. I loved seeing the mountains in the background.
I went on one of the first clear and warm days of the early summer and the parking lot was packed. The beach was pretty full of groups and families enjoying the day. Once you got on the water though, the lake was nearly empty. I would definitely recommend it for spending time on the water. If you're more of a beach bum, just be prepared for the company of a few strangers.
This is a tiny park, but clean and seems pretty well kept. There is a long dock where I saw people fishing, a little "dock" shaped like a triangle as well, a small covered area and playground, and a sandy strip for kids to play in. There are restrooms here. There were some pretty Lily pads in the water by the big dock. Parking seemed plentiful for such a small park. Pretty view.
