My entire family had initially rented a house boat on lake Billy Chinook. One week before we were to board we gat a call saying our boat blew up. So we were lucky to find lake Roosevelt, and they had a open spot. Although we spent more money and our drive went from 3 hours to 7 hours... It was totally worth it! Best vacation ever! Every day was truly full of adventure! Weather was great, wildlife everywhere, and the lake was perfect. Even though we just got back less then a week ago.. we are already planning a trip to go there again next year. If anybody is not sure if it's worth it... I'm telling you.. it's worth every penny, every minute stuck in the car. Just do it! It's a adventure of a lifetime! We will be back soon.

Big shout out for Dale at Lake Roosevelt Adventures. We were mooring at the marina and had an issue with the boat. Couldn't find a fix anywhere nearby. Dale saw the problem and had it fixed it in seconds. Basically saved our vacation. Thanks again Dale!

Houseboats are amazing! Who knew??

Seriously, this was such a unique and amazing trip. I had very little boating experience and none on a houseboat before we did this, but with the help of the marina staff I felt comfortable taking the boat out.

Even when I got stuck on a beach (not totally my fault) and when I didn't tie it down properly (mostly my fault) they were able to help me get situated. Our motor had a minor problem at one point (Ended up being a little 5a fuze. Seriously minor), but the staff was so responsive and helpful that I wasn't even worried. We just hopped on the paddle boards and did some cliff jumping.

If we had used a private renter or been on our own boat with engine troubles, I would not have been so relaxed! But they've got a whole team working on keeping these boats going.

In the end we had a fantastic, relaxing, trip with some great friends. We made memories that will last a lifetime and are looking forward to next time!

We reserved a houseboat this summer and then the smoke rolled in heavy. It was categorized as very unhealthy, the air quality was over 250.

We have a child with breathing issues and Lake Roosevelt adventures does not return deposits. In hazardous and unhealthy situations, deposits should be refunded. We have rented a houseboat with this company before and had a great time. However, it is NOT worth the gamble of losing $1,000 deposit!!! To say we are disappointed with the way this was handled would be an understatement.

They have officially lost our business and I would suggest to anyone forget about August! Maybe June is your best shot to have less worry about wildfires.
