Open spaces. Shower and laundry room. On the far side of post near housing and the fitness center. Reasonable pricing @ $25 daily rate. Travelers can stay up to 90 days before having to vacate the spot for 24 hrs if the park fills up. First come, first served. However I haven't seen anyone stay in dry camp more than one evening.
Small campground. Lots are tight. Few trees. Minimal facilities. Right near the runway. But it's close to the bx/commissary and the staff is very pleasant/ helpful.
The thing you need to know about this place that it is very quiet. The 2nd thing you need to know about this place is that when you come through or leave through the main gate be very careful with your long rig. The big thing to remember is that when you leave the main gate have the SP lift the gates up, otherwise you may damage your rig
All far as the bathroom are concerned they are very clean as well as the showers.
For one night, it is $20, no reservations are taken, it is first come first served.
First off you have to go through the Rambo gate for commercial vehicles. It is closed on weekends and at 6:30 in the evening. Not sure what you do in off hours. Call SPs I guess. There were three semi trucks ahead of us so we to wait on them to get cleared. They brought their K9 dog into our RV to check it out. This was the worst experience we have ever had when entering a base. The camp was full but we parked in the overflow. There was one ahead of us waiting for a hookup site. We got one the next day. If it were not for the hot temps and needing to have electric for the AC I would have stayed at the overflow. It was just parking in a field but we had a nice tree and it wasn’t crowded. There are trees in about half of the camp. Sites are close together. The camp needs some TLC. Laundry was inexpensive, 50 cents. Walmart is about 5 minutes away. Also some restaurants and a theater. It is a little ways out from Spokane. Campers can stay 30 days which probably keeps it full up.
We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and the site was spacious. I especially appreciated that the Rambo gate was manned. The last FamCamp we stayed at, we had to wait for someone to come and let us in or out, so this was a pleasant surprise! There's not much to look at in the camp itself, but it looked like there were things to see and do on base. The gas station has a high enough canopy for an RV to go through. We had a pull through with full hookups and we were only there for one night, so we were very happy with the place. We were there in a motorhome and pulling and the site was long enough for us.
