Even tho it's a fairgrounds used by lots of people, it could have better facilities. The bathrooms are rather outdated with corroded piping and the urinal 'trough' could be in better condition. There didn't appear to be any light switches, but they may have been missed. It got dark when the door was closed and it could use some venting. The building used for a wedding and reception was nice but had too few of ceiling fans for circulation and it was quite hot. Add some fans, folks.

Best little fair in the area. Happy to see the old poor farm at the fair.

Washington County NE celebrating it's 100 years anniversary it's definitely a place to visit to see what our farmers, local craftsman/woman & artist are being up to plus the have amazing vendors some of witch have been working on the event for several years like the Snow biz shave shave ice withe trailer (30 years), don't be fool for it's simplicity of looking this place probably has the best flavor for entire fair, or the homemade freshly ice cream (6 years) made right on spot using a hit & miss classic one cylinder engine that has to be close to 70 years old or something like, the hat lady that has been there for many years as well, with Mexican food truck, BBQ, Cajun food among other and also the home made dishes sell for the locals on the other building with rides and shows all trough out the event.
