Nice little campground (8 spots) in a nice area. Right by train tracks that has frequent activity. Very close (walking distance) to nearby fast food joints and main strip in town. Few items in the park need attention. Men's shower had no pressure, barely trickling out. Could be just a clogged, rusty showerhead. Site #1 ( our site) needs tree trimmed. Couldn't put awning out all the way and really couldn't use picnic table. While sitting at picnic table, breeze would blow the branches and wack you in the head while your trying to eat. City would empty your garbage every day (can at each site).
A beautiful small park. BUT our visit 3 weeks ago found it needed mowing, men's toilet plugged, and shower also plugged up. Attention needed.
Came here to camp while my son had baseball. Hooked up and noticed the outlet was fried-so our AC couldn’t run. We called the city to let them know and within 3 hours someone was out here fixing it for us. (This was also on a Friday afternoon when we called)..super thankful they came out so quickly and fixed it, especially on a hot summer day after a long day at the baseball fields!
