Any guests coming from the North, East, or South go west of Fremont 2 miles on Hwy #30, and then head south at county road #19 into the park. Guests coming from the West at approx. two West of Fremont you will turn right or South on county road #19 into the park
Great area to tent camp they also offer electrical sites for R.Vs. Great places around over 20 lakes to fish from. Well kept friendly staff good fishing.
Just got home from camping there for a week, its was so much fun. The only bad thing was one of our neighbors didnt have their dog on a leash it came running, jumped up on me, ran over all my stuff on the beach then went running onto our campsite.
Nice spot for seeing waterfowl, finding shells, fishing, or a picnic. I haven't used the campgrounds but they seem popular.
Can't ask for anything more. Close and really eat for a quick fishing trip with the kids. Always clean and maintained. Tons of lakes and roads are mostly all paved. Maybe this already exists but have a map online with the lakes numbered to find certain ones if needed. A couple restrooms could use updating but are open and when even needed. Never had any problems at any of the lakes. Kids always have fun.
This is a rustic and lightly maintained campground/park. The unpaved roads have some holes to watch out for. The rustic park was a great setting for a 9-hole disc golf course had some interesting twists and turns. The water hazard on hole #8 seemed too great to overcome on a blustery and cold December morning. So I did not tempt fate and plotted my own hole. I did not stay in the campground or use restrooms. However, the restrooms seemed newer.
