The N.P. Dodge Park Marina, located next to N.P. Dodge Park and the Missouri River, includes 326 docking slips, boat trailer storage, automobile parking, an inside boat ramp, and a shower/restroom facility. A public gas dock that sells regular and premium gas, snacks, soft drinks, and ice is also available. The marina is gated with a caretaker who lives on-site, provides security, grounds maintenance, and assistance to boaters.
Short-term Reservation Rates: $40 intra-day / $50 overnight (requires a minimum of 7 business days notice and payment due prior to entering the marina).
From I-680 (30th St exit): Go S on 30th St to first intersection, then E to Pershing Dr, then 1 mi N on Pershing Dr.
A fun place to take the dog for a walk or let the kids run and play or launch a boat into the Missouri river. Very busy place on the weekends. Also, the campgrounds and soccer fields are permanently closed. I took this photo today of the pond in the park. The pond has dried up due to the lack of rain.
The campground at NP Dodge Park is your best option if you need a quick spot to camp for the night. Most campgrounds near Omaha require a reservation 24 hours ahead of time. You’re right on the Missouri River with lots of space to walk around. Tent camping (no electric) is $10 for the night. The park lights were on all night which prevented an “immersive” experience. Facilities were decent with showers and toilets. Florence had a few good options for dinner plus a pharmacy for supplies.
Great place for a short or long stop. The trees are really beautiful. Explore the main path or walk to the river
I love sitting here watching the boats go by waving at all the boaters lol
Love the river views from here all the boats coming in and out benches to sit on boat docks and a marina , there is soccer fields
