This is a gorgeous spot! It's quiet and has lots of different things to look at that will make you lose track of time. There's the bridge, the Columbia River, squirrels, geese, great blue heron, along with lots of other birds; And not to mention the backdrop of scenery in every direction is stunning.
This is one of my favorite parks for camping. You need to make reservations. The grounds are well maintained. Dog friendly. Restrooms are very clean
Yesterday we were with my husband enjoying this beautiful park, we marveled at the maintenance, cleanliness and tranquility, good accessibility to get there, the parking and all the truth that we really enjoyed the place, the sun, sand and water, 100% Recommended over everything for the family, we hope to return next summer to this beautiful place, thanks again for the dedication of the staff to have it as it is 👌☀️
The best camping in the area. Everything is green, a lot of trees and shadow. Super clean toilets and showers included, no need to bring quarters. It's around 10-15 minutes from lake Chelan, but feels cosy and welcoming. Book way in advance, as this camping is a popular place to stay.
What a tranquil location. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There are lots of things for the kids and close to Chelan. The grass is so GREEN! Watch out for the "goat heads"
My wife enjoyed our stay!!
