The price is great. The view is great (if a neighbor's camper is not obstructing it). If it's quiet you want, there's an abundance of it. However, the members are a bit standoffish and clicky, so we felt like outsiders. It was awkward. Everyone goes to bed right at sunset. When it's time for me to retire, I'll need a little more action. Walking up and down that runway just won't cut it for me. I imagine that the people who built it had a bit more camaraderie and fun; in fact, I've seen the videos. That's not how it is today. In the end, the sites are so close together that there is zero privacy, and if you're not socializing with your neighbor, and everyone must whisper after sunset, it's simply not the place for me (or anyone below the age of 70 I might guess).

Nice, quiet campground situated atop a mountain. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Plenty of walking trails and hiking trails onsite and within a short driving distance. Close to Floyd, VA. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

We needed a getaway to get some much needed sleep and relaxation after a few hectic months at work. This was EXACTLY what we needed. The park host and shareholders were super friendly and helpful but not in an overwhelming way. We were greeted right away, and asked if we needed help, and then left to our own devices.

The views are good even if you are not directly over the cliff. The sites are close, but not so close that there is not privacy. (I've been to campgrounds where you can look in your neighbors window...)

It's very peaceful with nature surrounding you and a waterfall in hiking distance. Bring what you need the closest thing is a (well stocked) Dollar General, but not much else. Closest town is either Floyd (which does have some good restaurants) or Norfolk.

It was definitely worth the drive and the weather couldn't have been better! Definitely will return.

Nice campground, awesome views and a great setting to watch a sunset. A little off the expressway, but worth it. Folks are friendly.

If you own an Airstream you definitely should stay some time. Beautiful trails, super friendly people, very clean. Paved pad/porch and a little light at each site. Very level with full hook ups. Wonderful view. Sites don't have tables or fire pits so come prepared. Everyone should stay here at least once. They often have group activities and community camp fires if the wind cooperates. Tons of tree swallows to keep the bugs down. On the top of a mountain so it can be breezy.
