Very friendly staff and good rates. No frills park but the sites are flat and very large. Nice grass lawn at each site and extremely close to Appomattox.
This place is great! It is super clean with each spot having its own garbage receptacle. It is well lit. The sunsets are amazing- see pic below. It is quiet. The lots are well spaced from other RVs. We were very happy staying here for a few days. We are full-time RVers and we have stayed in a lot of RV parks. I recommend this park to everyone.
Great experience. Easy check in. Very Clean grounds. No facilities. Full hook up, level site. All pull thru sites. We used for an overnight stay only & will use again in future. They have an RV park area & a separate mobile home park- both very clean.
Good overnight place if visiting Appomattox, VA. Full hook ups, no amenities. Pull thru on gravel with grass in between. Nice lady signed us in, all cash or check only. No military discount but a Good Sam park.
We spent a month at Parkview RV park and overall we were really impressed. After reading some reviews on other sites I was cautious about making a reservation for so long. After checking in and meeting the owners, I was fine with our stay. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The site was long enough for our RV and truck and do offer other parking areas if you have visitors. The site was paved and had a small grass area to sit and enjoy the outdoors. We had no issues with W/E/S during our stay and the park was surprisingly quiet in terms of campground noise. Highway 460 is nearby and you do get some road noise from it but it was manageable during our stay. The RV park doesn't offer any amenities such as a fire ring, picnic table or bath houses so you have to be self contained and bring your own chairs and tables. Overall we had a good stay here and will do so again. We are in the area a few times a year and this will be our go to as some of the other parks in the area have gone way overboard on pricing and other additional costs to stay or have visitors.
