A great place to get away! The campground hosts, Patty and Greg, were very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable and relaxing!
One of the best kept campgrounds anywhere, in a beautiful scenic mountain setting. Never crowded, friendly hosts, and right on the upper tip of the lake. Teeming with every kind of wildlife. Be bear aware.
Has the possibility to be s really nice campground. Over 30 sites, in three separate areas. Hammock trees are few, and far between. Most of the vault toilets were closed, and the main bathroom was the biggest issue. The womens shower drains exceptionally slow, and you'll end up in standing water. The bathroom issues are the reason for only 3 stars. Location was great, if things are mowed the tent sites are great, you get free access to Phillips Creek.
I wasn't really there, but my husband was. I just want to thank Greg for go above and beyond for all the kind things and the friendship to my husband. He had gone to see a sick friend and Greg was a real blessing to my husband, Harry Wilkinson. God bless you Greg and Patty. Looking toward to come for a visit.
